I have been taking photographs for about 30 years. I started taking photographs using a Kodak Signet 35 camera that I paid 25ȼ for at a garage sale. After that I used a Canon FTb, and then moved to a Canon AE-1.
When I went to digital photography I started with a point and shoot, and then moved to a fix focal length camera. But I wanted to go back to a SLR camera. My first was a Canon Rebel, which I upgraded to a Canon 20D. The 20D was upgraded to a 50D, and today I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II.
Due to my work, I have had the opportunity to travel to many places across the United States and Europe which have allowed me to take my camera along. Also, my wife and I have traveled to a couple of the National Parks for vacation. Some of the places I have visited are; Iceland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Mount Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Sequoia, and the Badlands. Iceland has a special place in my heart to photograph. If you have any questions about the photos or places I have taken photos at, please send me an email.
What I like to Shoot:
I shoot mostly sunrises, sunsets, buildings, landscape and wildlife, but I have done weddings before and special events at work.
I also work with video as well. I currently use a Canon VIXIA HFG10. See the videos page for samples of my work.
